Using the GPS satellite
system, the Geodesy “Plus” gives advance warning of every fixed
speeding camera in the U.K. L.E.D. s notify the driver whenever a camera is likely to be encountered. If the speed limit is being exceeded, an audible tone can be heard. When the speed limit is being adhered to, the warning tone is muted. The unit comes with an in-vehicle cradle which can be connected to a 12V lighter socket. For security, the device itself is easily removed. Also supplied is a holder for use when 230V and a ‘phone line are available. This enables the Geodesy to dial in to a databank where it obtains up to date information about new speed camera installations.
